Every year, the “Yoshida Graduation Research and Thesis Award” and the “Yoshida Research Encouragement Award” ceremony is held at the Kyoto University Katsura Campus. These awards were established in 2016 by our company with the aim of fostering outstanding talents who will contribute to the future of academic research and technological development, thereby encouraging education and research among young researchers at the Kyoto University Faculty of Engineering. The name of the Yoshida Awards is derived from our President and CEO, Norio Yoshida. We intend to continue this initiative as part of our community contribution efforts.

The “Yoshida Graduation Research and Thesis Award” targets master’s course students who have conducted excellent graduation research, while the “Yoshida Research Encouragement Award” targets doctoral course students. This year’s ceremony was also held in grand style, honoring the efforts and achievements of many students. Our President Yoshida attended the ceremony and praised the efforts of the awardees. We sincerely wish all the awardees continued success in their academic and industrial careers.
