SANWA KAKO

On September 16, 2022, ten members of the Cyber Security Lab, a third-year research project of the Information Science Department at Kyoto Subaru High School in Kyoto, Japan, visited our company for a company tour. The school is one of the few schools in Japan to have an Information Science Department specializing in IT technology, and the school has been nurturing talented individuals who have passed the IT Passport, Basic Information Technology Engineer, and Applied Information Technology Engineer examinations before graduation.Corona Disaster, we have invested in infrastructure equipment, actively implemented a paperless office, and drastically changed our work environment. The process of this transformation was introduced along with an introduction of the company.Students commented, “I can’t believe that until two years ago we were working mainly with paper,” “The desks in every department are so beautiful,” “It was cool to see the shiny self-made gaming PCs with valuable parts,” “I was overwhelmed by the number of monitors,” and “This was my first company tour, I was overwhelmed by the number of monitors,” “It was the first time for me to visit a company, so this was good food for thought for the future,” etc. We were able to reconfirm that what we have been working on until today was not mistaken. At the same time, the students gave us motivation to continue to improve the workplace environment and increase operational efficiency.All of us at Minebea would like to thank Kyoto Subaru High School for providing us with such a valuable opportunity.
